I was inspired to make this piece by this post . The text says "Strength, between the Tears and the Truth " .I am just playing with some pastels . I don't have many but I plan to remedy that;)
Wow!! I love these! The way the face blends with the background, the colours you've used, her expression! Everything! What a lovely style you have. I just read through some of your older posts and I can't believe that you have only started drawing this year!!! Unbelieveable! I can't wait to watch your journey!!! Great work!
I LOVE this one, Jackie! You have a real knack with the pastels. Beautiful job and the sketch is awesome! Your drawing is getting stronger with each sketch. The expression is right on, too!! Beautiful!
Wonderful sketches and the colors you used are very rich and blend so well together. I have tried pastels a few times and find I get as much or more on me as on the paper so I quit using them as I am so messy. Maybe I will try them again as I love the look you can achieve.
absolutely beautiful!! when i was looking at the art i kept thinking of how much it looked like "frida." low and behold it was indeed!! this is really, really great work. how much would you charge for commission work? i'd love to have a piece of your art! email me: melitamollohan@gmail.com :)
