A few faces

Just thought I would share a few sketches . I am trying to at least do a sketch a day which is enough , sometimes I could sit and shade for hours the more I look the more I see. I hope I can eventually move in to color but for now I am content.

  2. I'm content with sketching, too. I thought I would want to rush through this part and get into colour, but the more I get to know the pencil, the more I want to linger. :)

  3. Way to go Jackie! Very expressive eyes. I love the second lady's eyes, they remind me of Linda Hamilton.:)

  4. Jackie my God they are fantastic. You are an artist. You are incredible, just look at what you can do.

Jackie I received a package in the mail with the most beautiful necklace I have ever seen.

Jackie I love you and the connection was there for us right from the beginning. Right from the start we recognized each other and I am happy that we did.

    Love Renee xoxo

  5. Jackie you know what I just noticed about your faces. They are so real I feel like I could talk to them.

You are that good. And believe me I know as I see tons of pictures all the time. You are amazing.

I believe in you and that you can do anything.

Jackie as for the gift, Nadalene was over the other day and we were both drooling over it. It is stunning.

    Love you sweet friend.

  8. Jackie, those are awesome sketches! You are so dedicated--a sketch is a worthy goal.

Yes I am enjoying Misty's class, but I feel like I need eight more hours a day to really get my feet wet. I am hoping that she keeps those videos up for a while after class is over.

As for the painting, I have to confess I am a bit intimidated! But I'm trusting in this process :-)

Thanks for stopping by my blog to say hello. I'm happy to make a friend on this Portrait journey.

PS Your mom's comment is so sweet <3
