ReplyDeleteJackie, thank you so much. It is such a treat to be recognized by other artists, and I admire your work--never doubt yourself, BUT I know what you mean. It's so great when it happens, though--the creative spirit or whatever just takes over. I wish it was like that all the time. And thank you so much again!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
ReplyDeleteI'm off to visit the others on this wonderful list.
Hugs and love,

ReplyDeleteI would like to thank you so much for this award, Jackie! You are so sweet.
ReplyDeleteAbout your post.... I get stuck all the time...lol! I'm on vacation right now and tried to paint today and just told my friends *i'm stuck*!! We all get in that rut!!
I too, often struggle with letting go with my art. Ugh! If you find the secret, let me know!! :)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the award and recipients.
Oh Jackie, this means alot to me. I can so relate to what you are saying about letting go. Not focusing on the end result but being blessed in the midst of the journey of creating. It's a discipline that feels undisciplined if that makes any crazy sense. Thanks so much my dear.

Your art is simply lovely. Thanks for visiting my blog. :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I know just what you mean about struggling to just let go with creating in your art. It's tough for me too. I'm working on it though.
ReplyDeleteI just popped over from Tina's blog. It's nice to meet you Jackie!

I like your thoughts. After many years of painting, I still find it takes a while to 'let go'. It usually takes me about an hour and a half at the easel to blank my mind, let go the ego, and let the brush and the mind be one (without interruption from all the other voices). I call it the zone. When I get there, the best painting happens.
ReplyDeleteJackie...thanks for sharing this with me :) you ate very gifted as well. I enjoy your work. I'm glad you can glean inspiration from my humble drawings it makes it all worth it! Thanks again....:)
