I have to say that I did a little research on Carla Sonheim and I could really relate to her . Did you know she took her first art class at the age of 30 ? I listened to her blogcast interview here .
I really like her and I am looking forward to her silly 2 class. I want you to join me . I really thought more people would want to play with Carla . So , all you have to do for a chance to win is just leave a comment under the silly Sunday giveaway post (below) . Thats all . Just say you want to win , Thats it ! I will be drawing a name on Sunday .
I left ANOTHER comment on the last post. hahahaha Don't you just love me? :)
ReplyDeletePS LOVE your new addition to your side bar. (wink) I wish more people did what you and I now do.
BIG hugs!
(I am commenting on YOUR comment on MY post...) I finished by doing it with an online yahoo group. We did a unit a week instead of a lab a week. Did it help me? Yeah ... it did which I am surprised by since I have never been a drawer ... EVER. Enjoy it!
ReplyDeleteHi... I think your are too cool for doing your giveaway... !!! I'm excited to be taking the class too... -so don't count me for your drawing... I just wanted to say hi!
ReplyDeleteI love the book... when I can read it ~ my 13 year old son is hording it! My sister & her daughter are taking the class & we are comparing our work... kind of a silly fun thing!
I had to come back and comment ... you are me! LOL, sorry, but everything you say rings a lot of bells with me!
ReplyDeleteExcept you CAN draw ... love the sketches. Also, with Carla's book I discovered I like charcoal and shading with it. Now I need to find a way to learn how to use it better. Alas, no art classes are near me.
I love your blog!
hello new friend! thank you for your kind words ~ i look forward to getting to know you!
ReplyDeletexoxo.
Oh I hope it's not too late to enter. I want to win your giveaway. This class sounds awesome.
ReplyDeleteHi Jackie
ReplyDeleteI already took the class, it is a lot of fun...reminds me a bit of when I used to color outside the lines ...
Oh wow!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you......I'm sure that we'll have a blast! Of course this means that I'll need to dust off my pencils as I haven't really done any drawing for years. Now, I didn't say that I don't make art! Just no drawing!
